Aurelia's Farm B&B is all about fresh local produce, home cooking and cosy accommodation, all year round. Just two minutes drive from the centre of Uralla, but with a wonderful rural outlook and plenty of space to roam we are ideally situated to cater for short or longer term breaks.
Almost all of our fruit, vegetables and meat comes from local farms and backyard gardens.
Our Cottage is a separate, fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage, offering a private place to stay with lovely views of Salisbury Hill. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two king single beds and a single bed. Both rooms have built in wardrobes and the queen size room has a digital TV. The lounge area has a comfy 3 seater couch and some armchairs to watch TV in, or to just admire the view. The lounge has double doors on to the verandah with a BBQ and some outdoor seating.
The bathroom has a lovely, deep spa bath, double basins and a spacious shower, while also accommodating a front loader washing machine should you need to get a few things washed while you are here. The front door opens on to a wide, covered carport (great for getting in and out of the car in bad weather) that also holds a good sized clothesline. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher and has a store of supplies to get you underway with any cooking you might feel like doing, while the dining table provides a great location for up to 6 people to sit and enjoy a meal.
Our Gostwyck Room is a private room with ensuite, deck, garden and car space, suitable for one couple or a single person, for one or two nights. We have furnished the room with crystal lamps, a beautiful linen bedhead, fine bed linens and a small dining nook. There are ample breakfast provisions included - cereal, bread, preserves, butter, milk, yoghurt, home made muesli and banana bread, juice and a range of teas and coffees. The room has a comfy chair for reading, an LCD TV, small ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. Although the room is part of our home it is entirely private in terms of access only through french doors off the deck. The room is also well insulated with soundproofing materials, keeping any noise you might hear in a family home to a minimum.
We provide a generous breakfast basket for each day of your stay including our home made banana bread and muesli, fresh local eggs, home made jams, fresh bread from our local bakery, bacon, cereal, milk, yoghurt, a range of teas and freshly ground locally roasted coffee.
We are passionate about supporting local businesses and have established a small 'shop' on one shelf in the Cottage. We have a small mini bar featuring locally produced artisan spirits, cool climate wines, cider and craft beer, as well as locally made cards, confectionery, teas, coffees and hot chocolate blends, olive oil, soaps and skincare.
