At 'Yarralong' your hosts, Margherita and Ian, endeavour to live as close as possible to a self sufficient lifestyle. So, there is fresh milk from the contented and friendly milking cows and chemical free produce picked fresh from the garden and prepared in a solar powered home.
'Yarralong' is situated 26 kilometres west of Armidale on a sealed road and is nestled at the base of Mount Yarrowyck Nature Reserve which boasts Aboriginal cave paintings.
It is very easy to relax and unwind in such an idyllic setting. You can choose to enjoy the serene sounds of the bush which are a photographer's delight, relax beneath the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees gently warming you, or alternatively, become involved with the numerous activities associated with their lifestyle.
