Brochures, Maps & Guides

Your Guide to NEHC

Whether you’re travelling through New England High Country by car, motorcycle, or caravan/RV, our brochures, maps and guides available online here or in person at our Visitor Information Centres are great resources for experiencing the region.

Listen to our history and culture

Experience our region’s history and culture through Soundtrails - self-paced locative audio walks delivered to you through an interactive app platform suitable for most mobile devices.

Discover a rich weave of memories, voices, myths, and archival footage. With original compositions, local voices, and world class production, Soundtrails uses locative storytelling to truly bring places and their stories to life.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE SOUNDTRAILS:
The Soundtrails App is available on apple or android.

1. Download the Soundtrails App from the App Store or from Google Play.

2. Within the app, select the Soundtrail you would like to explore and download.

3. Connect your headphones with the app open and location services enabled, follow the trail and listen to the stories. You can also press the green circles displayed on the map and listen to the stories without physically being in that location.

You can also listen to Soundtrails online via the Soundtrails website - just select the desired Soundtrail, ensure your volume is turned on, and hover your cursor over the pinpoints on the map image, which will reveal the different stories.
