The Autumn Equinox reflects the changing seasons and the imminent return of winter to the southern hemisphere.

At the Australian Standing Stones, the sun's high noon shadow point on the 21st of each month is marked by a series of ground-level plaques.

Watch the solar noon shadow align with the Equinox point of the ground plaque, and listen to the piper along with an explanation about solar noon and the changing of the seasons.

Lunch is available at Crofters Cottage at your own expense.
