The Armidale Running Festival is more than just a race weekend – it's a celebration of community, movement, and everything that makes Armidale special. With events for all ages and abilities, from a 1-kilometre Kids Dash to a half marathon, it invites everyone to get involved and experience the beauty of the high-altitude landscape.
But the festival goes far beyond the track. Held in the heart of town at Civic Park, the event will feature live music, local food and community stalls. With kids' activities, play areas, picnic zones, and space to relax, it's designed as a full-day experience for families, locals, and visitors alike.
The running schedule includes a 1-kilometre free fun run for kids, followed by 3-kilometre, 5-kilometre, and 10-kilometre runs on Saturday, with the half marathon taking place on Sunday. These options offer something for every fitness level and make the weekend inclusive and accessible for all.
