Billabong Blue Sapphire Fossicking Park is a fossicking area on private property located 22 kilometers from Inverell.
Creek fossicking is available seven days a week. You will need to take equipment with you, and tuition is not provided. Fees apply. Entry gate to the property is locked. Please ring Billabong Blue to obtain entry code to lock box holding the key.
Bush Camping is also available to stay on site. Toilet facilities and a camp kitchen are provided. Fees apply.
Please note that Billabong Blue Fossicking Park can be closed due to wet weather, please call ahead to ensure the property is open on the day you intend to visit.
Please take sunscreen, a hat, lunch, working clothes and drinking water and ensure that you wear suitable footwear.
