Acacia Cottages, Mount Lindesay Highway, Liston Village, via Stanthorpe, has four budget, self-contained two bedroom cottages each on separate fenced half acre, in the small mountain village of Liston, near St John the Baptist Anglican Church. Relax in the higher altitude, small rural village, simple accommodation. Each tidy well insulated cottage has a lounge/dining, hardwood floors, log fire, galley kitchen, small oven, microwave, slow cooker, small fridge, utensils, shower/toilet, small veranda, tank water. Supervised children are welcome. Bookings essential. Bring your favourite linen (sheets/doona/sleeping bags, pillows towels), provisions, friends. 30 minutes North of Tenterfield, 15 minutes east of Stanthorpe, close to many Granite Belt wineries, the Granite Highlands, orchards and National Parks (Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Girraween, Sundown, Queen Mary Falls), Killarney and Undercliffe Falls and Rivertree (top of Clarence), Storm King Dam, Bookookoorara River, parks, cycle and walking tracks and routes. Enjoy four seasons, wineries, music and food events (Spring Wine Festival, Apple and Grape Festival, many historic and modern car events, Market in the Mountains). Each Acacia Cottage sleeps four to six guests in two bedrooms. Bedrooms have either a queen bed or single bunks. There is also a converta lounge in the lounge room.
Each Acacia Cottage has a lounge/dining room with a combustion log fire, a galley kitchen with small oven/hotplates/grill, fridge, utensils, microwave. They each have a shower/toilet and small veranda. off road parking
The four cottages are set on a rural two acre block in the small mountain village of Liston, on the old Mount Lindsay Highway. There is a small dam on site and the site is externally fenced.
The cottages are BYO linen. It can be cold in the mountains, even in summer so include jumpers, sleeping bags, doonas, towels.
