Inverell celebrates Australia Day at Victoria Park. Entry to Victoria Park is free and for a gold coin donation, you can start your day with a delicious barbecue breakfast supplied by Macintyre Lions Club. The official ceremony commences at 8.15 am with speeches, an award presentation for Young Citizen and Citizen of the Year, and a Citizenship Ceremony will be held. Entertainment will be provided by local talent. Australia Day is a time to reflect on this nation's journey. To acknowledge the past, rejoice in the present and look confidently to the future.
