Billabong Blue Sapphire Fossicking Park is a fossicking area on private property located 22 kilometres from Inverell. The Main Park with equipment and tuition provided is open on Sunday only, weather permitting. Enjoy a day out fossicking for an Inverell Sapphire. Creek fossicking is available seven days a week, if you have your own equipment. A Bush Camping area is also available to stay on site and is available seven days a week. Fees apply for Creek Fossicking, Camping and the Main Fossicking Park on Sunday's. For more information please contact Billabong Blue on the contact number listed. Please note that Billabong Blue Fossicking Park can be closed due to unforeseen circumstances, please call ahead to ensure the park is open on the day you intend to visit. Please take sunscreen, a hat, lunch, working clothes and drinking water and ensure that you wear suitable footwear.
