The elevation is approximately 1293 metres, and in winter there are frosts and the occasional snowfall. The cabin was built out of an old shed, which was on the property when they purchased it about ten years ago. Prior to their modifications, it was used to store farm equipment - it had a dirt floor and had gates hung on the front to keep the cattle out! Once they had completed the cabin fit-out and refurbishment, they lived there until they finally built their new home, and now Starlight Cabin is a space dedicated to guests. There is plenty of space to bring your four-legged friends; the property has a fenced yard around the cabin for dogs. And separate from the living area, there is a large, pastured yard available with fresh running water for your horse. There is also ample space available to park your trailer/truck/ caravan, or camper too.
